The Butterfly Effect Program at Ascend Beauty College is designed for ambitious high school students who are ready to begin their beauty careers early. This structured after-school program allows students to earn state-required training hours while completing high school — positioning them ahead of their peers before graduation.

Students complete the program in 18 months and become eligible to sit for the Alabama State Board Exam.

Who is eligible? High school students (ages 15–18) who are motivated and ready to pursue a career in beauty.
How long is the program? 18 months to completion.
Can I apply year-round? Yes. We accept applications at any time.
How many seats are available? 15 total active seats at any time: 10 weekday, 5 Saturday.
What happens when seats are full? Qualified applicants are placed on a priority waiting list.
Can I fundraise for fees? Absolutely! Students can host fundraisers or seek sponsorship to cover tuition or fees.
