Q: When does Ascend open?

A: School starts April 22 upon state board approval/inspection! 

Q: I want to attend ASCEND but I won’t be ready as early as April! Will I have to wait until the next semester?

A: No. Apply for admission now, start applying for scholarships and start when you are ready! 

We offer open enrollment year round with modules taught on a rolling basis! Enrollment is simply contingent upon seats available as there will be 12 seats per class.

Q: Do you accept FAFSA?
A: No. As a new private school,  our institution is not yet eligible to accept FAFSA. However, we have several scholarships, loan programs payment plans as low as $95 per month depending on your selected program of study and fundraisers in place for our students to take full advantage of! 

Q: Where is ASCEND located?

A: 23402 John T Reid Pkwy Scottsboro, AL 35768 

Commuting from surrounding cities? No worries! We offer the option to attend virtually and attend on site 2 days per week!

Q: Do you offer night classes?
A: Yes! We offer full time and part time day and night classes for busy, working adults!

Q: What programs do you offer?

A: Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, Manicuring + Waxing, Massage Therapy, Instructor, Refresher Course,  Make up Brow & Lash Artisty, Bridal Hair & Makeup Artistry

Q: What’s unique about ASCEND?

Q:How much do I have to pay to get started?

A: Great question!

Step 1: Submit online application at ascendhsv.com/apply along with a $45 registration fee.

Step 2: Within 14 days submit a $180 registration fee along with requested documents.

Step 3: Begin payments on your tuition deposit to reserve a seat in class! The $1500 deposit is paid in your choice of 4 weeks or 4 months allowing you to start applying for scholarships while completing our prep program.

Step 4: Receive a certificate of completion and acceptance into your program of study!
